Listen to the sound of silence.
Let it consume your words.
The emptiness of the air cures all wounds.
The stillness of the space between us;
Makes it feel as if we are together.
Lets soak in each other’s company.
You can taste my lips if I can taste yours.
But nothing should be spoken.
Our burning caresses should be enough said.
And if you want to hear “I love you”;
Look to my fevered actions.
Look to the way the tears quietly stream down my face as you say goodbye.
And look to the silent quiver of my lips.
If you cannot feel that I love you;
Hearing it will not change a thing
