My Best Friend

Tiffany_Arnold

Seven years of ups and downs
Seven years with so many clowns.
Seven years that put scars on my face
but the whole seven years you stayed in your place.

My best friend, my homie
I don't know where I would be without my buddy.
You held me when I cried
You pulled me back when I had a knife.
You were there for treatment
You were there when I was mistreated,
You were even there when I felt defeatd.

The strongest man I know
You are very wise,
No one around here sees the tears in your eyes.
Something I wish I could do
Yual I look up to you.
I dont know how you are standing
With everything you been through.

We are like Spongebob and Patrick
I know it sounds cliche,
From our inside jokes
To jamming in the car,
Three hours on the phone is our record so far.

I could keep writhing on and on
Your my best friend, No one can take your place.
I know your hurting now
I just know your going to be ok.
so many years you had my back
I hope this poem reminds you where you are at.

A beautiful man
with a strong heart,
I know your going far
Just keep shooting for the stars.
Someday like you always do
You will win this war you are going through.
