Painted Faces

Omnimax47

They wait in the shadows,

the ones from the darkness.

Masters of stealth, they hide from the world.

Their faces slathered with paint.

They sleep by day,

to hunt by night.

Stalking across the ground,

as predators to prey.

With painted faces, they go unnoticed.

As the sky turns black,

their faces turn red.

With blood on their hands,

and hearts filled with rage.

These creatures of savagery,

devour the likes of you and me.
