Bystander

JB

I have spent my whole life

watching things happen

watching my reaction

People are wrong about me

I don't dare correct them

in fear of being hurt

I just want to tell them

I hear the way they

talk about me

People like me.

"Its" like me.

But I nod in agreement

as I scream to make it all stop.
