Hijacked Heart

HeartfullyFallen

I've never thought about shooting down the plane before
I went tadem diving and never wanted to free fall more
I've gone hang gliding and enjoyed the ride but still couldn't wait to land
but I've never thought running in the woods would be even more exciting than those
Ive never thought I could feel so light on land
I've never thought of shooting anything down before but look where we are now

we're here
watching the airplanes fly over
we're here
on the ground, and I'm still not heavy
and you know I'm scared of gravity never letting me up again
and you're still here, with me
watching
and we're just sitting here
but I've never thought I'd feel more confident sitting on the edge of a bridge and tossing rocks and missing every shot than I would becoming a character who is your perfection
but you're not here to mold me into perfection
you know that dress just doesn't fit my style
but you do
