Redemption Song (Second Verse)

ForeverJesus7

Emancipate yourself,

from mental slavery.

None but ourselves,

can free our mind.

Have no fear,

from atomic energy,

because none of them,

can stop the time.

But my hand

was made strong,

by the hand,

of the Almighty.

We forward in this generation,

triumphantly.

How long will they kill our prophets,

while we stand aside and look?

Some say it's just,

a part of it.

We have to fulfill the Book.

Won't you help me say?

These songs of freedom,

is all I ever had -

redemtion song.

  • Comment from author about the poem: I had wrote the first verse to this song, 'Redemption Song', a long time ago. This is actually my favorite song written by Bob Marley. I am not sure, but I think that it was the last song he had wrote. I think he had wrote it not to long before he had died. This is actually one of my, all time, favorite songs. Persistence is key
