First night, first sight
First kiss total bliss
So intense this feeling
Surrounded by some love lust mist
She lured me in to a world full of sin
Suddenly she became an addiction
She new she had me hooked
She was the pill I took on daily basis
How was I to know she had two different faces
At the start I thought it was love
Thought she been sent by the lord up above
When really she was sent to break me
To take myself worth away
To lead me astray
Then all of sudden she is in complete control
No trace of me being left behind
Turned into someone i do not recognise
She was surely the devil in disguise

Angela1711,
An excellent write!
Most of us can easily be snared into a situation so aptly penned by you!
It’s painful...even to remember...once out of it!
Thank you for sharing this poignant glimpse of an unfortunate situation!

Aren't they ALL, ONCE EVERYTHING IS SAID AND DONE.?What I believe it is is NOT THE PERSON THEMSELVES..when two people are in fleeting love, they are extremely vulnerable to outside influences..especially when all they can see is each other...but when others who notice this start feeling left out or what have you, it releases a darkness from within them ...then it grows as more and more become aware of your bliss..so, then there is this black cloud created by human envy, jealousy, sometimes just down right evil that takes over one of them or BOTH OF THEM AND THEY ARE HURT AND SO, THAT IS THAT...be very wary of your surroundings when love comes to you next time..I would be willing to bet that your ex lover was influenced by something outside of herself to end up treating you the way that she did...anyway, very nice writing ...enjoyed
Thank you for the reply. Yes i agree sometimes people around us influence how we behave
