I Once Had The Money.

kevin browne

I once had the money, and I once had it all
Now every thing's' gone cause I had a big fall
Although the money was sent down the drain
I tried to work out how, but now I've no brain,

So, to remember the riches in the cheapest
Limitations on top to help pay for the weakest
When there is wealth formed in the easiest way
Life becomes important so to help out every day

The sovereign in the hearts of our children's' eye
And, what a beautiful feeling when everyone cries
A star is born with her smiling face as she dances
Magic appears when you've lost all your chances.

Disabled or not two are the same except a little
And, then if she's deaf then don't bother to whistle
She can give you a wave so just wink her an eye
She'll blow you a bubbly kiss and she'll say goodbye.

You see there in this life in which we don't know
Stumble, we crash, we give up with nowhere to go
We die, we live, we hurt, we yell, holler and shout
We'll let it all go having the relief without all the doubt.

Shout out if you may, but must remember a love
A kindness of exquisite, gentle heart from above
When we lose the hope, but to keep moving on
To be taken away from life In an instant, it's gone,

I've struggled with litter and the bounds it reaches
Kids playing in the park with a goalie in a wheelchair
Hold his hand, his heart, and that's what he teaches
He's happy, he's funny, when he plays he plays fair.

Step down off your throne on which you sit all the time
Laid back to the hilt he displays his best foods and wine
With diamonds and sparkles inside our children's ways
We'll live for the day when differences finally fly away.

There's a place in our hearts where we learn to give
To help make people better, to pick them up and live
Show your innocence divine within the beauty of you
We'll cuddle up nice and tightly in whatever we do.

It's so important for you to save all your breath
Incredible lives are lost, our inactive baby deaths
Fill your lungs up with whatever you have inside
Create the existence of life which you'll all be beside.

Our future, our humanity, our water, air and trees
Life has faded into killing all of the busy honey bees
But, still, we march, and we'll cover over the mountain
Vanished ahead a bit with too much money counting.
