The Earth does not revolve around us.

We revolve with It.

    Very true.

Simple observations are the best - love it. Perhaps that's why I feel giddy.

      A bumper sticker maybe?

I thought of this after watching a very intense documentary about the plight of Borneo. What is the future of our species? Sorry, no simplicity there.

A fine 'thought for the day' L.

      THEN* = WHAT ABOUT ((((( ME ))))* ?

      • Lawless

Realistically, you, I, every human are irrelevant compared to our Mother Earth.

Yes, so much said in so few words.

You make us think, Lawless and that' a good thing, especially in old age. Your words help us escape the boundaries of senile dementia. And for me, that's a good thing.

              Thanks for sharing.

                Thanks Tamara for commenting.

Thinking clearly at my age is always a struggle. This one just popped into my head after watching a documentary about Orangutans, and their struggle to survive with the human race.

You're welcome, Lawless. Isn't it strange how some things just pop into our heads. When that happens, even if it's one or two in the morning, write it down before you forget.

The only thing that popped into my mind was a chemist I used to work with. I put her name in on google and her obituary came up. She died in August 2018. She was only 57. No chance to even collect social security and she paid into it for over 20 years. Enjoy life! No one is promised tomorrow.
