Commitment To Jesus

It is easy to join a team,
when they are winning.
It may even be easy,
to stay with that team,
when they hit an easy bump,
but very few people,
remain on a team,
let alone join it,
when that team hits a deep slump.
It is easy, and sometimes expected,
just to give up.
Like so with prayer.
It is easy to pray and give praise,
when everything is going our way.
Yes, we must thank him,
for our many blessings,
but it is when we are down,
that we really need to pray.
