Set fire to the wind

whisperingquill

Cast me into the
dysphoria of wrath
cool cloaked self
dismantling draft,

oh woe pity is me
systematically delivered
into the hands of ipseity-travesty,

confined from dissident whispers
waltzing to a ominous melody,

first plea I seep
falling eviscerated
withered tethered
to scurrying luminosity,

away the days
of hierarchy,

feared,
loved,
and glactha,

blessed be this
pain I breathe
visceral calculating
gracious need,

elation,

primate of amours
infestation
stagnant magnet,

counter react
rules of gravitation
blind to satisfaction,

now,

a cracked lantern
of fleeting flickers
sicker from being
richer in the moments,

when loyalty was a
golden condor
raw color coded
to the core
splendid
how he soared,

now,

this demented derelict
held in check
fighting a
self love
he hasn't
gripped yet,

curses his worth
to remain walled
hidden smitten
with fear of
standing tall
pauses on the fall,

viewing depleted visions
when he once had it all
seeing the dybbuk
in my empty glass
of Hennessy
as the abaca haze
exemplifies my insanity,

shedding kernel drips
of better days
when the sparrows
song fell behind
the spinal call
of a giggling crow
clenching the glow
of my emaciated
marrow.
