Winter Solstice

Simon Bromley

Ethereal light unveils to see,

Lambent orbs softly flurry.

Supernal purple sky in glee,

Sprite in dance at winters glory.

Immutable part of nature’s charm,

Beautifully engulfed on mountain tops,

Lay in crown on forest floors,

Crystal likes and sapling tops.

Enchanted valley and clime,

Softly touched by winters kiss,

Elegant and sublime,

Timeless seasonal solstice.
