Ode To Bianca

Ode To Bianca

Little kitten little gal

Trying to find your space

In a family where you shall

Meow all the day

As white as snow you’re a special one

And you’re really quite a sight

In your new family begun

Below a canary perched up high

Each day is new to you

With a chance to fit in

With some time to nap and snooze

Next to your canine friends

You rarely saw a singing bird

Though you heard them every day

With their trills through screen doors

That drove you then half crazed

When racing ‘round you tuck your ears

And arch your little back

And you grow and are dear

With no good thing you lack

Soon there was another one

Trying to fit in

And he was glad at playing some

With his newfound friends

Cats are our companions and deserve this fine ode as a tribute W.C. - a lovely read.
