Mine A Special Story

 

There are things to get off my chest

Secrets way down deep

I know there will be happiness

When I rid myself of these

 

In the recesses of my mind

Dark places can be found

Reminders of another time

When depression kept me down

 

The catharsis that I need

Will be enjoyed when I vent

As often as need be

Until I’m well again

 

Going to church may help

Though I do not like religion

But in choir I have felt

That peace I have been given

 

When good things come around

I take an inventory

And when I’m through I have found
