Fear

TheStrongInHeart

I take my fears and write them down on paper

I don't know why, I guess it feels safer

I thought I'd write about hope and love

But that seemed unnatural, like a caged dove

It's much easier to just let the monsters run rampant

Imagined creatures of horror and torment

Designed to hide me from the real issues, real struggles in my heart

Fear of regrets, rejections, and a lack of direction

Much more hindering than a cancerous infection

Is the loss of humanity- your human intentions

I want to save the world and give love a chance

But I can't because fear is in to much abundance.
