January Blues

January Blues

Grey….thoughts and skies, no colour;

tho’ a bright white sky insists the sun will shine later, but I am not sure;

You are all gone far away now that Christmas cheer is past,

And I must collect my thoughts and hope together to forge ahead.

Glimpses of hope in the garden arouse my interest;

The yellow hellebore’s head is drooping

But underneath her nodding face is smiling.

Nature, once more, becomes my healer.
