Glass Box

Omnimax47

From within these walls,

I see your face.

You look upon with wondering eyes.

Onto the one way glass,

That separates our hearts.

I sit alone and wait,

For freedom to greet me.

My face turns bright when I see your smile.

When you visit my cage.

You cannot see the darkness I’m in.

The glass remains,

An unbreakable wall.

We touch, we feel,

Through the barrier that will forever separate our love.
