What have people done to me
I can’t shake this feeling
This feeling of loneliness
This feeling of emptiness
I’m so lost
I feel so unloved
Everyone left me
What else is there to feel but alone
I’m not looking for anyone
But an understanding of myself
What am I doing to drive people away
All I do is love
Not for much in return
But some love in return
My heart is broken
Not because of someone
Because of people
They leave and take a piece of my heart away
All I’m left with is a small piece of my heart
Patiently waiting to give it to the right one
Willing to give the last of myself in hopes
In hopes to feel whole again
