Redneck

redneckwriter

Whether sleds or wheelers

They all take time.

We wrench then polish,

To make them shine.

Cars and trucks,

Yea those things too.

Making stuff run,

It’s what we do.

Raise our kids ,

Do what we can.

Showin my boys,

To be good men.

We all get dirty,

Doin what we do.

Hell even my daughter,

She loves it too.

The life we choose,

Is easy to see.

It’s far from perfect,

But perfect for me.

Family means all,

I promise you that.

When I need it most,

They’ve got my back.

Maybe we’re different,

But I don’t care.

Cuz when you need it,

Guess who’s there?

With a pickup and rope,

Or a plow for the snow.

If your having trouble,

We’re the ones to know.

There in a hurry,

To help you out.

I guess that’s what “redneck”

Is all about.
