Mirror

Mia_Rose

They say treat others how you like to be treated

So I guess for you it means you like to be defeated

Pushed down, not by fists but only with words

Down until you can barely speak the words

"I'm sorry" "Forgive me"                   "I can do better"

Between tears and crippling fears            that you will never

Be good enough, deserving enough and when you land

On the ground, I'll be around to                 lend a hand

And when you stand you'll see a little clearer

When you see the one that put you down

The man in the mirror
