Take me to the place where the memories
Are full of grace! Not of this dirt and air.
The mirrors in here show just my reveries!
But these are but my dreams - and of my prayers.
If this was forever, I would not care
About the consequences of my loves.
But, alas, the mistakes are mine to bear,
So I continue to look far above.
If I had wings I’d surely be a dove!
My past would lie in a heavenly cloud;
Not one fault of mine would be near thereof.
I would not hide my sinned face in a crowd.
Still I seek the everlasting home where
I am forgiven and kept taken care.
