A Heartfelt Problem

A. F. Naturaliy

Sometimes

I think to myself and wonder

How some people can live without

Emotions

Maybe when everyone is made, angels

Can

Miss a person or two, giving the missing emotions to someone else

Then, that person goes through life, more likely to be

Hurt

I think to myself

Maybe I’m this type of person

A

Wise man once said

“Just stay calm, hold your head up high, and strive to be the best

Person

You can be.”

My heart is made up of two sewn together

My emotions, half stolen from another, bubbling and boiling over the edge

I wonder how people can live without as much pain or empathy

This is what I think to myself.

  • Comment from author about the poem: I wrote this poem as a vent for myself. Lately, I've felt as if my emotions get the best of me and how I feel too much towards others. I hope some of you can relate to this.
