Yes, breaking even would be nice.
Do we only notice the breaks inflicted upon us, the things stolen from us? We all can break things without realising the damage we do. I'm thinking of the hearts we can break when the owner means little to us.... but isn't there a kindness in that breaking, rather than misleading.
Maybe we can steal a heart without ever noticing that too.
