escape

Dakota

Take a seat by the window

Preach all day I still sin though

this is not my way a life

you live for the day

but you cant sleep all regrets creep at night.

in my dream world i am free

instead of being rooted into the ground like the

old oak tree

that sits on top of the hill so lonely.

hopping one day to be blown from the ground

and hopping one day to look in a mirror and being ok with what i have found.

because its myself..

this ship has sailed on my time and it started to sink

I dont know where i could go but its fun just to think

that there is a place just for me.

a dream i found and i wish not to wake

what a mistake to not go how long should i wait

I planned this for a while my great escape.

bare footed in a grass on a sunny day

a place i could happily stay.

no bars no locks no killers no cops.

no guns no shots

no judgement just laughter

no more death no more disaster.

no more questions just answers.

Another day another and another

here is to those who feel the trap

we could all leave one day and never come back

no worries no walking on eggshells and slipping through cracks.

We won’t be alone

No Kong’s no thrones

no judgement no hate

One day this one will throw up his twos and

escape.
