In All The Things We Usually Do.

kevin browne

And, in all the things we usually do
There's the magic hiding deep in you
For filling life up with some speciality
Leaving all your love from you to me.

For once upon a large slice of pure heart
Where people fall and tear us each apart
Catch a falling star, and keep it real close
Together in the warmth of your own house.

Stay with me heartache, please don't leave
That which holds your heart on your sleeve
Pray a little if and when you feel the need
Stay with me and let leave alone the grief.

Brothers and sisters must learn to dance
Bringing back vitality in a loving romance
Life twisted itself leaving you upside down
Join in a hand that holds up your crown.

Sickening is the thought where nothing is
Alone becomes lonelier if you think like this
Try not to worry about always losing out
Caring enough is enough to clear the doubt.

Walk with me through the wonder of it all
Pick up the pieces if you decided to fall
There on the floor where things have died
The living is a marvel, but please don't lie.

Sunshine shines down on the incredible one
Like a lover does when all is said and done
Broken in two is a sister who lost the will
Forever in tears are the hearts that will fill.

Take good care if you can dig deep enough
For gracious goodness me we'll learn to love
A kindle of fire upon the death of someone new
Being around people if you know what to do.

Fierce is a word that's easier to forget me not
More robust than that is the reality of what you got
Take it in to remove the badness from where
A question of sporting from here to over there.

Fill up your space, and try your damn hardest
To remember the people who are your closest
Life is a love with a burning ring of dishonesty
This time, however, is my passion full of clarity.

Kiss me gently towards the gateway given
I'll sing you a poem about living in Heaven
Where the melody will make you walk a mile
At last, I see, and; learned how to smile.

Warm up a light that flickers with a beauty
Be kind to remember never to be naughty
I'll pass on the buck, let's bring in good hope
Carry hearts in yourself, and know how to cope.

    Kevin,

    Yes, I agree...
“...in all the things we usually do
There’s the magic hiding deep in you...”

“At last, I see, and; learned how to smile.”

    So...
    “let’s bring in good hope
Carry hearts in yourself, and know how to cope.”

A beautiful poem laced with positivity!
    I sincerely enjoyed the read!

Reads like wisdom from a life lived by a man who's learned how to cope.

Indeed, dusk arising. There are many patterns in life in which we learn how to deal with the heartaches handed out to each and every one of us/ Thank you for an inspiring comment. Nice to hear from you x
