Cry Through The Pain.

kevin browne

Cry through the pain when you fall through your heart
And then whimper in silence when your lover departs
Shield up your defence, carry hurt into someone new
Think of summer so golden, look up to the sky so blue.

A feeling of unjust just being alone revealing a doubt
Shout out a loud scream when you have let it all out
At the beginning of a new dream where dangers exist
Lift up the Moon, pull in the ocean, let love do the rest.

The feeling of flowers upon a scent which always cries
Scarred by the past when you realised you have died
Brought back to life, and given a chance to understand
Rejoice if you can to adjust holding somebodies hand.

Pick up the pieces to bring in a new peace to your life
Query a question of the dark which you can never hide
Remembrance of what's gone, and that's no more here
Hold on to yourself, and to remember to let go your fear

To wander alone is a beautiful thing so you can think
Fill up your garden of Edan and make sure not to sink
Carressed is a beauty ruling a sense of some sensitivity
Lost in the hope of becoming a truth of your own ability.

Sold by the sea waves breaking upon the crest of danger
Walk in the Sun beside mirroring someone who's stranger
The footprints you've left in the sand have now gone away
Deadend by the numbness of having to live for another day

Gone are the heartaches now to see what's coming up next
Search out the soldiers, sisters and brothers who know best
Underneath it all where light can reveal what's left with you
Take up your station, take up to the idea of what you can do.

A belief is a belief is something you own so try to use them
Then wherever you are, and whoever, however, and when
Directional thought has blossomed upon your heart again
Now to hear the whispers who thought you were to blame.

A balance of love topples over and over till it never stops
A new lover aboard finally found you and now loves you lots
A brand new sunrise carried the burden of your old mistakes
A love in your heart has arrived then love whatever it takes.

Good write Kevin, with some swirling effect in the layout of the poem. The twists and turns of love?!

Ah, you hit the nail perfectly. Capturing the in and outs of what love are all about. Thanks for your comment, Orchidee.

Did it take ages arranging the text like that?!

orchidee, most of the poem I ever write normally flow out on their own, and are completed within 10 to 15 minutes each. I have something special where I don't have to think too much about what I write. The fluency of ink naturally flows from my pen without the stress of trying to work out what to write. I have an ability through the culmination of my life knowledge. It's a beautiful thing to own.
