She’s killed my love
For anything at all
Now I find myself doubting
If I live, or if I fall
Is there a sun today?
The world seems so dark
The shadows are consuming
What’s left of my sorrow
But I keep pushing forward
I really don’t know why
I guess I’m just not ready
To yet completely die
So, today begins the chapter
Of a book started long ago
It’s about everyone in love
And a boy who has nothing to show
A boy who tried so hard to love
But could never make anyone care
And when he falls, he looks back up
Wishes he’d stop breathing the heavy air
He wishes someone noticed him
But he gave that up long ago
So, he sits in darkness, remembering her
And watching the rain gracefully flow

- Comment from author about the poem: This one is from my heart, and it is titled as a "Remembrance" because it reflects on a day where it felt like only I could understand, and how frustrating it was. I wrote it to feel better, to be able to get my emotions out (on, at the time, paper), and it turned out pretty well, so here it is.
