The Surgery

BoxMyHeart

I'm not nervous, like I expected I would be
Entering the waiting room with my squeaking feet
Sitting across from the blonde lady with the Gucci shoes, she looks nervous and has a fearful mood

I silently wait for my name to be called
In no time at all the Dr bellows
I lay on the chair-bed whatever it is
Mentally trying to prepare myself for this

They ask if I'm ok and I confirm that I am
Deep breaths in, I notice muffled speech in the air
My little theatre cap cupping my ears
So that I can barely hear

I've accepted whatever will be will be
It's out of my hands and lights are all that I see
Gazing down at me flashing and blurry
15 + 16 seconds never too early

The suction was uncomfortable
But not unbearable
The cutting was detailed skilled and raw
The laser itself was painless and flawless
All in all, 6 men that day done a really great job

I will probably faint if you say what happened in those 15 or 16 seconds! I'm guessing.....
