Lost Memories

MrNobody40

I sit on the floor
And stare into space
As if midnight were to dictate
Me being the last on earth
The heater chasing the cold
From the fan on my back
Im the only one that matters
As I lose myself in thought
The warmth reminds me
Of so many days
Summer nights sleeping outside
Camp fires
I want it to take me
The warm air keeping me safe
My blanket of lost memories
Where did it all go

    Poignant.
I felt the solitude and how the warm air of your memories interrupted it.
