TheStrongInHeart

If beauty is deceptive,

And hides what is inside,

I wish that I were ugly,

So your love would be my pride.

If intelligence is conceited,

And questions all the world,

I wish that I were simple,

So I could be certain you are my girl.

If wealth is proud,

And holds all in contempt,

I wish that I were poor,

So I could prove that you are why I am content.

For you make my face shine,

And my heart skip a beat,

There is nothing like being with you,

Nothing so sweet.

A dedication of love with the inspiration of expressing your heart of your sleeve. A warming poem
