Thank you psychofemale for your read and like!
The holy spirit in prayer to bless the communicants. Very interesting Gary Edward Geraci. Took me some working out, but I think I arrived, A rare bit of knowledge to me. I have now learnt my blessing too. love the word and meaning of Anaphora now that I understand. Usd in poetry quite a lot apparently.
I’m glad grace moved you into knowledge and understanding - I’m only the poor instrument. Yes, the Holy Spirit is the mover of the epiclesis: Catholics understand at least four big epeclesis moments: the formation of the earth; the raising of Adam from the earth; the overshadowing of Mary resulting in her pregnancy with Jesus; and the transubstantiation during Mass that turns the “essence” of bread and wine into the “essence” of our Lord: body, soul, and divinity.
A fine write Gary, as I try to unravel it. I lost the plot, and ended up with stone jars - amphora! lol.
Thank you Orchidee - always nice and a laugh to read your comments!
