Go Away

seeker123

I told you to go away

But you didn’t listen.

I told you to leave me alone

Yet you persisted.

You never seem to hear what I say

I see it in your eyes

The lack of depth

Reflecting your cold shoulder.

Now you want to talk?

But I don’t want to listen.

I feel cold inside when your eyes stray;

Never on me

They seem to stay.

Can you hear me now?

No of course you can’t

Because you have gone away.

Ha the one time you listen;

The one time you hear my voice

It tells you what I least want

So, I guess it’s my fault now,

Cuz I told you to go away.

Tho I really wanted you to stay.
