Graveyard of My Youth

seeker123

I sink my toes into the speckled sand

And wander up and down along the tide

Searching for those gleaming white star-like eyes

That once did lay so delicate and pale.

But now I only find their crumbled corpses

These shattered shells that used to bring delight

Now lay at waste forgot by day and night.
