Lasting Love

Tiffany_Arnold

I watched her grow
I watched her struggle
I watched her do whatever she could, to make not her life but her childerens life worthwhile.
She went without eating
She sacrificed a lot
Looking in the mirror it's no wonder why I am so strong.

I watched her sad
With two men I call dad,
She tried to stay with them each time
For her childerens sake not because she was blind.
we weren't rich we definitely struggled
But then a man name Jason came by
He cleared the tunnel.

My mom was no longer sad
I saw the glow in her eyes
He is the reason we all survived.
It's been almost seven years
I can still see that shine,
They came from the bottom
They left the past behind.

Looking at their love
That's what I want for myself
Seeing that trust they want no one else.
I wouldn't compare them to any love story
They created their own through their journey.
Someday I hope I can find love so sweet
because they have something you cannot teach.

This is really moving. It clearly shows your love for your mother and her love for you and yours. Now another has come into your lives and brought more love.... you've all grown from your shared love.
Bible says envy is a sin you know, but i sure nuff am envious of you in this... and thats no sin.
