I can't breathe under water
I can't fly to the moon
I can't walk atop of rivers
I can't go back to half past noon
You sure make me wanna try to
prove, every impossibility untrue.
I'm not sure how this path
Lead me straight to you
I'm not entirety sure
That's what it meant to do
You fixed my broken heart
Validated every scar
I guess this is the part
I say I love you.
I won't win a gold medal
I won't solve a rubix cube
I won't never make a mistake
I won't bring peace to religious fueds
You sure make me wanna try to

Shined a light to you

When you've battled thru and arrived at being a love scarred, worse for wear, tiring man who's grown a pair then i guess it's a pretty good time to say those words to someone who is the right one in your own learned judgement.
Really excellent writing again.
Been catching up on some of your recent stuff ( haven’t been on here in ages) this is lovely. I want someone to write poems like this for me jeeze😂
