What do you want to be?

When I was young

And I was asked

"What do you want to be?"

I responded with,

"I want to be a vet."

 

When I was a bit older and asked the same

I answered

"I want to be an actor."

 

When I'm asked now

I simply say,

"I want to be

The very best me."

 

When I am old

And I am asked

"What did you want to be?"

I will say

"I'm still working on that."
