Towards The Ocean Of Horizons.

kevin browne

Shadows of devotion play
Upon the giant leap of love
Silenced by just in knowing
Where in a place it sadly lay.

Fitting for a Queen is there
Decorum appears profound
For Kings have lost a living
Caught in a trapping snare.

Regain a beauty in the Sun
To reveal a shine that's yours
Weathered by a broken heart
The day you had has gone.

Caught out by your reflection
By mirrored somewhere else
Left behind the thought of it
If you caught loves infection.

Pretenders to a throne of hurt
Speaking with a twisted youth
Painted on their smile of hope
Landed on, mud, clay and dirt.

If ever you've missed a chance
Towards the ocean of horizons
Bow down before your siding
To find another new romance.

Towered above the greatest
Of a death within your heart
Saddened by a love of loss
Was found in your old places.

Sat upon a star there was it
The tide had turned its Moon
For every second left behind
The clock was there to sit.

Falling from grace of yours
Victory felt as if it had prayed
In the midst of glowing bright
Opened all those shut doors.

Scarring the entrance of trust
Loving all till there is no more
And, because you tried it well
Then teach yourself you must.

Brilliant, I read slow as it is and you always take me a while but I'm never disappointed.

The depth of understanding in anyone poem is a thought to be recommended with a touch of intellectual possession within one's own mind to grasp the perception of what is written within the meaning from the virtues to the poets making of his/her work.
