Wolf

SerenWise

So wrong, but right,

Your inanimate picture

Stares out

From a blank screen,

But your voice is tangible

I could almost reach out

And pluck it

From the air.

I want to run my fingers

Through your hair

And caress

The soft creases in your cheeks.

I want to feel your stubble

Rasp across my jaw

As I plant open mouthed kisses

On your yielding lips.

I want to inhale

Your breath

To absorb that warm voice,

That is so palpable to me.

A vampire

Mouth clamped to neck

Sucking on a painful bruise

My exquisite agony.

I’ll see you transform,

And I’ll love you

Even when you become a monster.

I’ll simply lay back

And run my fingers

Through your mane,

Knowing you will keep me safe

Despite the pain.

I dont know why these words have not yet been commented on by any of my potential reviewing predecessors... I believe them to be more than worthy of a few moments, a few words and much more recognition........... N
