A Day Changes

A Day Changes

For everyone there are days

When the world is right

Whether at a picnic in May

Or at a day dawning bright

Rain will come along

And the sun will dim

But there will be a song

As the sun comes out again

In the afternoon there is calm

For a shy little deer

And to the wood she belongs

Until the coast is clear

The dusk always comes

And the sunshine fades

And a final song is sung

To end another day

And the night descends

Starting grey and turning black

And the owl begins

Until the sun again comes back
