I Am Living

DesertWords

I am not surviving,
I am living.

I'm not holding back, I'm pressing on.

I'm not running from yesterday, I am
dreaming into tomorrow.

I'm not cursing my wounds, I'm
learning from the pain.

I'm not crying over my failures, I'm weeping
tears of gratitude for having tried.

I'm not silent, my heart is singing.

I'm not alone, I am the keeper of Divinity.

I am not surviving,
I am living.
