My heart

Dakota

my heart loves

my heart hates

my heart forgives

almost always too late.

my heart feels

my heart hurts

my heart wants to keep going though everything else says put this body in the dirt.

My heart cries I will not

everything inside the bottle buried down deep asking all feeling to stop.

my heart is in a war my heart wants peace

Taken from its home waiting patiently for the day we meet.

Maybe gets the answers we deserve

I don’t take much advice word by word.

In one ear and out the other

i make it too my own way I learned to do this growing up with my mother.

my heart is broken

my heart is confused with words that were spoken.

most were lies it’s hard to find the truth.

So drink I drink and drink until I’m so drunk everything goes down smooth.

I don’t want a thing from this world

All plans of being anything have foiled.

I’m just another human being that’s spoiled.

My heart is lost.

No you're not lost. Your heart just needs to learn to be happy enjoying all the nice things in life as well as the getting involved in romantic stuff which can be hurtful as well as ecstatic.
