Secrets

SerenWise

I wonder what is hidden

In your deepest thoughts,

When all is silent and the moon is silver,

In scorching dreams

The sweat prickles on your neck

Hot skin searing,

Thoughts blazing in the soft darkness.

What do you dream of?

I see the tantalizing glimpses,

A single word

Which slips and slithers

From your lips

With suggestive abandon

But innocent meaning.

You catch me off guard

Your eyes are alight

And for only a moment

I catch a glimpse…

Sheets tangling around long limbs

Loud music blaring in the night

Perhaps to mask the sounds

Of delicious pleasure

Enticing like a secret garden

To which only you have the key.

Just for a moment

I thought you let me in

To see over your walls

In the yawning gaps

between your words.

Wonderful! and if you knew those fantasies would they please you or worry you sick.... for we all have them. But there is another dream, to be able to share those wildest fantasies of your dreamworlds desires with your trusted loving soulmate......... now wouldnt that be something poetic and raw.
