It's all a tremendous lie...
A pretty thing to fill
The gaping hole in my heart,
A thing which melts like
The Winter snow,
But no Spring is forthcoming.
Every person is just a shadow,
A part of something bigger
That I desperately want,
But fear I shall never find.
There is nothing
And no one
Who can fill this yawning void
Where my soul should lie.
