Abbie

Joel-Lilian

Monday MORNING
A new day is dawning
A course full of strangers
Soon to be giggling like teenagers

A big deal it's not
Your date of birth to the dot
Some Might say
38 days is the way

You're beautiful and kind
Those around you are blind
They take advantage
I'm telling you it's sacrilege

A goddess by heart
gorgeous with fine art
High on a pedestal
That's definitely where you should be

Two weeks and I've seen
A beautiful person you've been
A future full of laughter
You're as mad as a hatter

Friends I know
A cushion for that blow
I wouldn't ask for more
Without you is a bore

A week left how it will fly
I'll struggle to say bye!
