The Question

Phillthy

Where were you when the rent was due?

Where were you when the depression set in?

Where were you when the drinks were through and the hangover crept in and all I could do was count the seconds?

all I was asking for was an open ear.
But shit I would of even took an open beer.
cause presence says more then sentences but that’s not like it’s story of the year.

but extra extra… bad depression with no anti depressants
and no cents to pay the rent and uncle Sam’s relentless to the defenses of the fence less
who can’t afford a motel or even pay attention.. but minus minds retention still stands the question where were you?
