We Sleep On A Bed Of Stars

whisperingquill

Silk vapors tethered to silver zephyr's
descend as holographic reveries
from the lips of Eros blown kisses
of a deity wrapped in a copper feather,

even the shiniest thing can not
reflect the symmetry of you and I
entwined under the satin veil
blanketed by the hum of night,

a sequence of tactility ripples
through the continuum strands
unravelling space and tempo
a standstill inverted criterion
I fall into fervency stealing galaxies
that swirl within your eyes,

for the stars weep and wither to fade
as our velvet kiss and undulating loins
freezes the yawp of a rising day.
