Lemon Rind

SerenWise

You disgust me,

Using me as a tool

For your dominating fantasies;

I’m not to be devoured

By your salacious eyes

And slathering lips.

I’m no innocent creature

Small and submissive,

To use as you please

And discard like debris.

I’m not a delicacy,

A sweetly candied flower;

Take a bite of me,

And you would taste

I’m sour -

My skin like a rind

Tough from abuse

Years of misuse,

Treat me with respect

Or don’t waste my time.

    Wow I absolutely love this.
    Feels really raw and emotive.
    I liked
    I'm not to be devoured by your salacious eyes
    Especially.
    Starred...x

    Shame that there are those among us who make us feel this way sometimes. There is anger lurking in your words... and rightly so.
