Scared Of Silence.

kevin browne

Scared of silence
In this innocence of mine
Still, you can hear her name
But, you'll lose the test of time
Where through a flame of light
You'll play the game
You'll shine so bright
On, and on you'll go.

Stars you kissed
Were left outside to dry
But. whatever you did wrong
Don't let love tell you why
That old balled song you do
Just for someone to undress you
Still, you'll her cry
On, and on you'll go.

And. all those nights
Were left outside to die
But. the good Lord said a prayer
Or you'll be left alone to wonder why
Stranded by yourself,
But you don't know where
Every moment you'll fail the test of time
On, and on you'll go.

You claimed a fortune
But, the sound of money
With all your fancy rings you sold out
The prettiest things smell like honey
Did you ever find the time to doubt
That it wasn't too much to ask
For the time that kills the test of time
On, and on you'll go.

A spark at last ignites
Lovers love all through the night
When you looked across to see
If there were clocks to change the time
There're always others love to be
But, you'll find its a life of crime
Before she can undress me
On, and on you'll go.

An eye for a tear
For sweet loves divine
There is a faulty creation
When you fail the test of time
Stand your ground of secrets beside what's bright
Wasn't anything you did. but you were out of line
And, now that you've gone I can light up my light
And, on.and on you'll go.

Now the hurt you've caused
I'll die within the hour of my own pain
If only I could make some time pause
To wonder how you used to call my name
A dream was made for all to take the blame
Is it just the same
Of feeling shame
And, on and on you'll go.

Ah! the scars left by all the counterfeit loves and lovers of the world; I bare many scars but the silence no longer scares me. Thank you for immersing me in “the stuff” of this earthly battle; to never lose sight of the enemy brother!

You speak a good tongue, too, my brother. You bare your scatches well, the scars just a reminder of what was or could have been. As long as your heart is in the right place nothing else should really matter anyway. Always chuffed when you call in.
