Hands of a Guy

shadows

I hate you

I hate the way you talk to me

I hate the way you lie

I hate the way you look at me

But most of all

I hate the way you make me shy

While your hands are on my body

When mom is so damn drunk

dad is caught in thought

When Alex is so fucked

I crumple to what I’ve been taught

Shhh don’t make a sound

Dad has too much on his mind

Mom is nowhere to be found

No one must know I am in such a bind

Hands on my leg

Hands on my thigh

Hands inside me

Hands of a guy

You were supposed to always protect me

Mom

You weren’t meant to be

The one who brought him into my life

Oh how can you not see

Now he’s going to jail

Your voice echoes in my ear

“He didn’t do it”

Silence comes from the fear
