Dovestoneboy

You go to a place of no sound

Save the turning of silent paper

If only dreams were songs

Somewhere, out there, I may have heard you.

Seen your coat over the back of your chair

Your hair swept from your eyes.

Maybe you thought about things

Other than chemistry

I think you must have

Because we are all star dust

We are all longing to return

To the hurtling visions in the night sky.

I only ask because

I think of those things too

As if the turning of the next page

Of the last page will reveal all

But I think I found the answer elsewhere.

I must remember ‘no talking’

And leave you in peace

Exactly as I found you

In the place of no sound

Among the songs

You yearn to sing.

    Among the songs
    She years to sign'
